Floriana to appear in Lethal Weapon Season 2

On Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 12 you’re going to have a chance to see Thomas Lennon return as Leo Getz. This marks his second appearance of the season, and it’s a chance for him to come on and, effectively, have what we’d consider to be a little bit of fun. Whether Leo agrees with that remains to be seen.

Just in case getting more Getz (pictured above) was not enough for you, this episode is also going to bring you an appearance by Floriana Lima in one of her first roles since departing Supergirl earlier this year. This story is going to prove to have very personal ties to Riggs, and the Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 12 synopsis below offers up more insight:

When Riggs visits his father-in-law in prison (guest star Tony Plana), a walk down memory lane reveals an old secret about his deceased wife (guest star Floriana Lima). Meanwhile Murtaugh tries to impress Captain Avery, and, united by the death of a mutual friend, Trish and Leo Getz (guest star Thomas Lennon) try and solve a murder on their own in the all-new “Diggin’ Up Dirt” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, Jan. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Based on the fact that her character is dead it’s going to be hard to see too many appearances from Lima on this show; still, it should prove interesting to see what she brings to the table here. This story is personal and potentially touching; it could serve as a nice bit of contrast to some of Leo Getz’s antics out in the field.

Can you tell us anything about Supergirl‘s “Sanvers”? —Emma
During my visit to that CW series’ set, Floriana Lima confirmed, “We’re definitely going to learn a bit more about Maggie and how she came out of that whole ‘coming out’ [experience].” What’s more, in the Monday, March 27 episode, “An ex-girlfriend (played by Cedar Cove‘s Hayley Sales) shows up, and it’s a shocking moment for Maggie to run into her — while Alex is with her,” Lima teased. “We are just walking outside of yoga class, and it was one of those moments where I was like, ‘Yeah, I’ve done that, run into an ex with a new partner!’” Scoop quiz: Now which half of “Sanvers” do you think is dragging the other to yoga?
